Due to the controlled construction process, systems-built homes are considered to offer better energy efficiency resulting in lower heating and cooling costs and a greater value for the homeowner. The controlled, quality construction process also helps to avoid untimely weather delays, quality control problems, fluctuating and unpredictable material costs and skilled labor shortages.
Modular homes are built to meet or exceed local building codes. They are built to state and local regulations and building codes for the location where the home will be sited. In order to assure that every home passes inspection, third party inspectors that are approved by the State Department of Housing, perform an inspection and are up-to-date on the state and local codes of the home's final destination. Our homes are not transported until they meet or exceed the building codes.
Shorter Cycle Time
The shorter cycle time resulting from factory built technology, can be the number-one attraction to a builder. Instead of having money invested month after month, the builder can close the house, collect money and be on his/her way to the next project only weeks after breaking ground. Our volume purchasing is delivered on-time which enables us to help provide the consumers with amenity filled homes at reduced cost, and design flexibility which provides a wide range of options from which to choose. Builders save money in terms of labor, materials and on-site waste. Because of the reduction of subcontracting (bringing typically subcontracted construction work inside to our facility), we eliminate 70 percent of site-built subcontracting. This is a considerable savings that really helps in the long run.
Year Round Workforce
In addition to the many benefits of using systems-built technology, we have a year round work force. We have multiple designs with strong curb appeal. Today you cannot tell the difference between a systems-built home and a stick-built home. We can construct essentially the same house with the same amenities as any conventional builder. Coordinating the schedules of 40 to 50 subcontracts on each project can be intimidating. We help to eliminate the stress by having a year-round, indoor construction process manned by experienced and reliable work force using proven production-line systems-built techniques.

We use quality products with trusted brand names that you know and trust. There are no shortcuts when it comes to the quality of construction material used. Everything is done under one roof, the materials used in a systems-built home are usually in better condition at the time they are installed because they've been protected from the elements. Guerdon proves a consistent high quality in building materials and workmanship.
Inspection Process
The in-house engineering department at Guerdon Enterprises LLC designs and engineers the high-quality homes, while a regulated private engineer reviews and stamps the plans to insure code compliance. Once the plans have been reviewed and stamped, they are sent to the State Department of Housing within the jurisdiction of that home. There, the plan is reviewed and approved. At that point, the house is scheduled for production. During production the home is inspected by the regulating state or a third-party private inspector for compliance to structural, electrical, plumbing codes. At completion of production, the final inspection is completed and the home is approved by the regulating party and is certified with a label. The house is ready for shipment upon receipt of payment. The home is delivered to its destination and a local inspector inspects and approves the portion of the work that is conducted on-site.
